Historically, the first couple weeks of June is a changing of the seasons in the mountain parks. The last of the winter ice has melted off the lakes, revealing pristine lakes with jaw-dropping reflections. Wildlife is in abundance with elk, moose, & bear sightings common, including newborn offspring. Waterfalls are at their highest flow for the season with the mountain runoff, and alpine wildflowers start to bloom. Jasper in June is one of the best locations and months for shooting in the Rockies, and it falls just before the massive Summer crowds start to appear. Location
