Once you begin, you may never stop. Even more accurately: Once you begin, if you are serious about teaching, do not think about stopping. The truth is, while the profession of yoga teaching has matured to a place where there are hours, credentials, and requirements for continuing education, the art of learning to teach yoga—at its core—was always meant to be a lifelong course of study. In some traditions you would teach when your teacher signified that you were ready, and after that, you would continue to refine your own training, always coming back to study more and to continue to be mentored.
