Hard Knox Brewery

The dreams of owning a microbrewery began back in Montana after drinking a Huckleberry Ale at a local brewery. 10 years later, siblings, Cory and Pamela Lyken began making that dream a reality.

As local area residents, growing up in Millarville and graduating from Oilfields High School, building in Black Diamond just made sense.

Hard Knox™ Brewery came to life in May of 2018, after 2 long years of planning and truly living a ‘hard knox life’ to get the doors open!

The name Hard Knox™ was created to pay homage to how the area was built, from those that came out west along the Dusty Trail, to the Grunt Work those experienced in the coal mines and oilfields, to the farmers who work Sun Up to Sun Down.

You’ll feel right at home when you step through the doors of Hard Knox™ with its casual cozy vibe, a community hub for all to enjoy; local residents, cyclists, outdoor enthusiasts, and visitors from afar.
