How It Works

1. Registration

When you sign up at RumbleAlberta.com, you receive a unique membership number that activates your safety protection.
It appears on the left hand side of your profile page.

2. Service Activation

When you need the service:
  • Call Intercon's toll-free number - 866-765-6718
  • Reference the Never Ride/Drive Alone Program
  • Provide your membership number

3. Trip Details

Share critical information:
  • Details about yourself
  • Planned route
  • Vehicle information

Safety Net: Comprehensive Emergency Response Protocol

Grace Period

An agreed-upon window of time allows for:
  • Construction delays
  • Unforeseen circumstances
  • Flexibility in travel timing

Contact Attempts

  1. First Attempt: Intercon tries to contact you directly
  2. Second Attempt: Contact your designated emergency contact
  3. Final Attempt:
    • One more direct call to you
    • Call back to emergency contact
    • 911 dispatch initiated

Emergency Support

If all contact attempts fail:
  • Immediate 911 call
  • Coordinate tow truck assistance
  • Locate traveler
  • Tow truck drivers can summon:
    • Fire services
    • Ambulance
    • Police services
